Chicago's Day for Charity is a celebration of people gathering together for one purpose: to raise money for Chicago's not-for-profit community. The birth of this idea came from multiple observations including the cost to produce an event, the need for organizations to have the opportunity to participate in an event regardless of their size, and the financial inefficiencies often found as a result of organizations producing their own event as a stand-alone endeavor.
